Sempoa is one of tool for calculate. There are many kinds of sempoa.
For example:
1. Sempoa Rusia (Russian Abacus)

SEASONS IN INDONESIA

Indonesia has two seasons, the dry season and rainy season. The rainy season usually runs from October to March and the dry season runs from April to November. Our country consists of thousands of islands. These two seasons are different from place to place.
In many places, it rains nearly everyday in the wet season. People usually bring raincoats and umbrellas. It rains a lot at December, January and February. The leaves of the trees are green and the weather is cool.
When the rainy season is over, the weather is getting warm. The dry season is coming. It's dry and dusty in June, July and August. It's a good time to go camping, isn't it?

TAYUB

Tayub is one of culture from Nganjuk, this culture is used for the sake of agriculture in order that fertile. Tayub is believed has magic strenght. Usually, it is done in the birth day of village. The villager hope that the ceremony can make the plant healthy. Tayub is to be strength a villager. Tayub is done by method, serve sesajen and there is women dancers and men dancers. They wear traditional cloth (javanese) and tradisional music together with the dance. It is believed if the dancers to dance very erotic can make plant fertile more and more. In this dance, the women dancers are symbol from area, and the men dancers are symbol from seed. It is a good dance.
